Northern Romania and Central Hungary share the great Hungarian Plain which is home to the famous Cossack styled Hungarian cowboys and lots of sheep.  While the picture looks nice, northern Romania is nothing to write home about.  Legacy garbage from the communist era dominates the landscape with broken down buildings, old abandoned industrial plants and large coal powered electrical facilities.
