Palau: Koror

<< Previous Photo

Last but not least, the signature fish of Palau.  The Mandarin Fish is very tiny and hides deep inside coral heads.  It took a fair bit of looking but we finally found a couple located outside the Cathedral Cave.  Brian and Brennan were very pleased with themselves to have spotted this treasure that was less than 1 cm in length.  They were suitably cheezed when Deb and Sierra managed to find one 15X that size when they snorkeled by the wharf below the dock's bar an hour later.  We figure it must have been a mutant.  So long Palau, it has been a truly wonderful experience!
