One of our first stops in town was the Te Puia.  This is a Maori cultural center, built around a large thermal park.  The mud here is especially viscous that sticks together (see the eye?).  It also boasts the largest geysers in the southern hemisphere that go off every half hour or so.  Despite the rain, we had a great time.
