New Zealand : Christchurch

The downtown core of Christchurch is filled with amazing buildings.  This cathedral fronts onto the city's large central square.  The plaza was a popular place with people playing soccer or chess on a giant board, strolling and shopping.  The church took 40 years to complete, starting in 1864 and is well known for its interior artwork.
