New Zealand : Milford Sound

<< Previous Photo

We took a 2.5 hour cruise on Milford Sound.  As well as all the spectacular scenery, we saw a large pod of bottlenose dolphins and New Zealand fur seals.  The taller snow covered peak (1,692m) on the left is called Mitre Peak because it resembles a bishop's hat or mitre.  The rock in front of it is called the bishop's stool.  While we were cruising we didn't discover any other parts of the bishop's belongings.
