The town of Rotorua is built on top of a huge geothermal region.  All throughout the city are huge bubbling mud pots and steam pools.  They even have steam erupting from the sewer drains.  This photo was taken in the park in the middle of town!  The good news is that they have all the hot water they want.  Every hotel seems to have huge private jacuzzis in each of the rooms.
