Brennan got some air hitting the first big wave! Brian got a huge bruise bouncing off a large rock that sat in the middle of the river.  This was just a warm up however.  The guides pulled us out after the grade three rapids and advised us in great and gory detail about what was in front.  They stopped two guys from going through the grade 5 rapids (not enough skill), while others bailed voluntarily.  Brennan looked like he wanted out but he stuck with it.  He was a natural.  We were only told to do three things heading into the big rapid.  Kick left (The waterfall is in the channel to the right), Hang onto your board,  Stay left and Kick like hell!
