Hawaii : Volcano National Park

One of the many craters located inside the larger volcanic caldera of Kilauea.  This one used to be filled with fresh lava, forming a large lava lake that would bubble and spit for years on end.  The drive around the caldera was 11 miles long, just to give a bit of perspective.
